Key City Theatre Required Technical Information

All requests for technical equipment, facilities, or services must be made at least 2 weeks prior to rental.

Information required:

  • Light plot
  • Stage plot
  • Sound plot
  • Lobby space requirements
  • Any other technical requirements
  • Notification of any third party production suppliers*

*All third party production suppliers must be approved by the Technical Director. These suppliers must either carry liability and property damage insurance or be covered by the renter as an extension of their policy.

Any requests made after the two week window may, or may not be provided at the discretion of the Technical Director.

The Key City Theatre can provide tech operation at a fee of $15.00/hr
You will arrange for your own technical staffing
 
Stage lighting equipment and sound equipment belonging to the Theatre will only be made
available to operators approved by the Technical Director.

The Key City Theatre will provide training for approved unqualified operators, at a

pre-arranged time with the Technical Director, during regular office hours.

All training of potential operators will be conducted by Key City Theatre staff only.

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE FILLED IN TO ENSURE THE THEATRE CAN BE OPEN
AND READY FOR YOUR USE.

Wireless mics ($2) Hammond B-3 ($100) Stand-up piano
Projector ($100) Tables    
Flown/Roll-out PA system
with/without subs($200/$250)*
Digital Mixing board ($150)*    

*Each rental includes the use of our basic House PA, which consists of center cluster and two stage speakers with basic mixing board and associated outboard equipment, mics, mic stands and cables and power amps; additional costs are for the use of our flown and roll out Pas and digital mixer.

~IMPORTANT~

When planning your schedule, keep in mind that theatre rental is based on

a consecutive 8-hour period ($65 per hour thereafter).

Our box office is open 9:00 to 4:00 … the theatre is not*.
