Since the mid 1970’s, Murray has had a passion for photography. His main focus was on nature and sports photography, covering rodeo’s, chuckwagon racing, motorsports, sporting events like the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders and the Calgary Stampede. His nature photos took him all around BC, Sask, and AB shooting wildlife and scenics.

Since moving to Cranbrook Murray spent his time as a photographer at the 2018 +55 BC Games, 2020 Men’s and Woman’s Provincial Curling Championships, Cranbrook Rodeo and amateur sports.

Starting in 2018, Murray became involved with Fisher Peak Performing Artist Society. This allowed Murray to combine a love of music and photography. Covering events by them and other music concerts, with many musicians using his work on social media.
