Jay White has been paying homage to Neil Diamond for over 25 years. Jay’s every movement, sound and expression are tributes to the passion and power of the real Diamond, giving new luster to the life of the man and his music. From the moment he hits the stage with Diamond favorite “Cherry, Cherry” to the fabulous flag waving finale “Coming To America” Jay fires the audience with the intensity of his first class illusion.

In 1996 and again in 2002 White met Diamond before his Vegas MGM appearances, where Neil told Jay to; “keep up the good work” and autographed a photo of the two signing; “Jay, keep singing, so I can stay home and relax, your friend in music”.

Jay energizes stages with a touch of class and a dash of Rock-n-Roll, continuing the musical legacy of Neil Diamond in five countries and more than 9000 unforgettable shows.

About the show:

In the heart of Ukrainian culture, where tradition dances hand in hand with passion; Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble presents,  “DZVINKA” - Ukraine’s Robin Hood Story.

In the heart of Ukrainian culture, where tradition dances hand in hand with passion, there exists a legacy that spans half a century. Welcome to the jubilant celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Society. Since its inception in 1974, Tryzub has stood as a beacon of artistic excellence, a symphony of spirited footwork and colorful costumes that tell the story of Ukraine’s rich heritage.

“DZVINKA,” Tryzub’s 50th Anniversary Show, is a unique 2-hour stage production that unveils over one hour of original music, composed and recorded amidst the shadows of war in Ukraine. Featuring new elaborate costumes crafted in Ukraine, the mesmerizing choreography takes audiences on a riveting journey encompassing excitement, anticipation, laughter, and moments of despair.

The first half of the show introduces an original storyline centered around Ukrainian folk hero Oleksa Dovbush—an outlaw, a hero to the people, and leader of the Opryshky. The second half navigates through the diverse regions of Ukraine, showcasing the delicate balance between intricate technique, colorful costumes, the grace and beauty of our female dancers, and the strength, determination, and gravity-defying tricks of our male dancers.

Despite formidable challenges, the costumes and music were created in Ukraine by brave individuals.  As a result of the shutdown of Ukrainian airspace due to Russia’s war, the costumes were transported by van out of the country and then flown to Canada from neighbouring nations.  These costumes embody resilience amid adversity. As Russian military targets museums, theaters, and historical sites, orchestra musicians, scattered and forced to record in school classrooms, join hands with Tryzub in crafting original works like “DZVINKA.”

Net Proceeds from the performance will be donated to support Ukrainian Newcomer programs that support the mental health and wellness of youth impacted by war.

Epidermis Circus

A spicy puppet cabaret, hosted by a sassy grandma who keeps trying to steal the show. This beautifully twisted variety show is performed by Ingrid Hansen, who also puppeteers for Jim Henson Company’s Fraggle Rock. Watch behind-the-scenes as Hansen performs a live puppet film, animating cheeky vignettes in the palm of her hand and projecting them onto a huge screen. “Both live and magnified on screen, in cunningly angled cameras and mirrors, we see Hansen create characters from her own hands, fingers, tongue, in a saucy and jostling vaudeville of ‘stars’. NUTTY, INGENIOUS, MESMERIZING.” - 12th Night. Costumes by JIMBO (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race.) SPICY, FOR AGES 14+.

“An enormously entertaining, one-hour madcap vaudeville show. It is chock full of riotous, naughty, and mystifying vignettes using her bare hands, her face, her mouth, tiny toys, and a doll’s head. Hansen's hands-in-motion have the kind of presence that is often attributed to the greatest stage performers -- transfixing the audience, and creating pin-drop silence interspersed with spontaneous bursts of laughter.” - Culture Catch NYC

“CRITIC’S CHOICE ★★★★★” - All About Solo NYC
“A GENIUS OF PHYSICAL COMEDY.” - Entertainment World “HILARIOUS. Her physicality is impeccable.” - Star Phoenix News
“Unbelievably charismatic.” - The Charlebois Post
“Remarkable feats of puppetry.” - CBC

Directed by Britt Small (premiere director of Ride the Cyclone,) with costumes by JIMBO (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race,) performed by Ingrid Hansen (puppeteer for The Jim Henson Company’s Fraggle Rock and Sesame.)

Warning: Cartoonish sexual content, swear words, puppet suicide. Dark lighting, loud music, and surprises. SPICY, FOR AGES 14+

Don't miss out on this unique, laugh-out-loud experience! Secure your tickets now for a night of hilarity and jaw-dropping puppetry.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Hot off a tour to the most prestigious puppet festival in Montreal, Danish-Canadian puppeteer Ingrid Hansen tours her spicy puppetry cabaret after shooting 2 seasons of Fraggle Rock with the Jim Henson Company. At home in Victoria, Canada, Ingrid also co-creates puppet theatre with the “big kids” inside federal prisons.

Ballet Jörgen: Sleeping Beauty

Key City Theatre, 2DAY FM & Remax Blue Sky Realty presents:
Ballet Jörgen: Sleeping Beauty

Big Ticket Plus: $40
Big Ticket: $44
Regular: $50

Ballet Jörgen

Sleeping Beauty is one of the world‘s most famous classical ballets and holds a place in the repertoire of virtually every major company. After more than 25 successful years, Ballet Jörgen will create its own unique classical ballet rendition with its World Premiere Tour during the 2015-2016 season. This major new ballet tells the enchanting story of Aurora and her prince complete with its inherently magical qualities and dazzling choreography.

The fairy tale about a young woman placed under a spell to sleep for a hundred years only to be awakened by a kiss is an easily accessible story. It appeals to a child’s imagination and holds a special place in the hearts of adults. The underlying theme is the tug between the forces of good (the Lilac Fairy) and evil (Carabosse), serving as an important thread to the plot. Told in three acts, the ballet benefits from the character development and technical expertise for which Canada’s Ballet Jörgen is known.

Artistic Director and award-winning choreographer Bengt Jörgen focuses on the magical elements and the interpretation of the ballet as a nature allegory: The young woman represents nature, the wicked fairy is winter, who deadens life with pricks of frost until a young man, spring, cuts away the brambles to allow the sun to awaken sleeping nature. Sleeping Beauty by Ballet Jörgen draws on the traditional choreography by Marius Petipa to spin a tale of nature and love that will inspire young and old alike.

The delightful story will be danced to the original 1890 score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, set to a libretto based on Charles Perrault’s story La Belle au bois dormant. In ensemble with stunning costumes and captivating lighting design, Sleeping Beauty by Ballet Jörgen is guaranteed to provide an evening of entertaining and inspiring live performance.

About the Show

Over the Moon

Featuring award-winning vocal and multi-instrumentalists,
Suzanne Levesque and Craig Bignell

A short while ago the Traveling Mables from Calgary were recording a CD and they hired Craig Bignell to record drums, percussion, and banjo from his home studio in Grey County, Ontario. Everything was as usual for this type of thing, until they asked him to be part of their CD release in Alberta a few months later.   This would be Craig’s first time meeting Suzanne Levesque and they seemed to hit it off right from the start!

A few days after, a close mutual friend (Tom Jackson singer/actor) was having a dinner party at his Calgary home and many of the guests were from Alberta’s music community.  As fate would have it, Craig was staying with Tom at the time, as he was rehearsing for one of Tom’s Huron Carol Tours.  After dinner, people were sitting in a large circle taking turns playing and singing songs. When it came time for (the ever shy) Craig’s turn, he bravely went forth, clutching his acoustic guitar with obvious great strain and fear for his life:)

You see…Craig had made his career as a drummer/percussionist (www.craigbignell.com) and without a huge array of drums, cymbals and various incendiary protecting him, he was sitting utterly alone on a stool, singing some silly love song, completely terrified. Now as luck would have it, Suzanne's  band was also at this event.  She was watching as Craig struggled on in front of his often overconfident peers.   So from the shadows, Suzanne appeared, bass in hand to rescue Craig by adding her incredible voice and bass playing to this seemingly silly love song.   In doing so, she made him sound and feel so much better…

Craig could just feel himself relax, and he even ventured a smile as his voice returned to normal, losing the Slim Whitman vibrato sound that was present before she appeared…He thought his heart was going to burst!

And that was how the whole thing started. They’ve been singing together ever since and even have people asking if they were related, as their voices blend together so well they sound like family. I guess they are now as they were married five years ago:)

They continue the music and magic of that first night now with Over The Moon and getting rave reviews and gaining new friends and fans wherever they perform.   Their first CD "Moondancer",  was released in 2017 and it reflects the beautiful two-part harmony style that they are known for and the wide array of acoustic instruments that they play. Most of the songs are original and tell stories of life lived in Southern Alberta's ranching country. The title song "Moondancer" was given to them by their artist/ranching neighbor Ian Tyson!  Below is their first "one-page" from their U.K. release.

Tyrel Hawke

Tyrel Hawke is a proud local who returned home after university to make a lasting impact both on and off the stage. Tyrel holds a masters degree in Nursing, working as both the East Kootenay Regional Pediatric Clinical Practice Educator for Interior Health and as an instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the College of the Rockies.

Over the years Tyrel has performed in many different capacities, from Musical Directing for Fort Steele Heritage Town, to writing and performing at the Calgary Stampede, to hosting the EKFH Starlite Ball Gala every Fall. Tyrel has kept a hand in the local arts scene over the years, assisting with music direction with MBSS shows and a variety of performances with the Little Jazz Orchestra.

The past couple of years Tyrel has made a conscious effort to return to his passion for music and performance, focusing on his own music composition. Evenings alone with his piano have been one of the greatest ways to process the complex emotions that come from his professional work and he is honoured to be able to share his songs with all of you. His music is influenced by numerous artists and style, fusing elements of soul and theater with folk and pop. Whatever the style, his songs are centred in processing emotions and hopes his music helps others process some of their own emotions as well.

About the Show

Dani Strong

Dani Strong is an award-winning artist and songwriter with over 3 million streams, multiple tours, and song placements on Netflix and Amazon Prime featured films. Dani and her band always put on a magnetic, upbeat live show that is unforgettable.

Her 3rd album will be released in fall 2024. The first single, "Slow Down" was released in March 2022, followed by “Loved” in August, and her most recent single “Out of the Darkness” in March 2023. As with all her music, the new material is produced and mixed by Dani’s long-time friend and Grammy-nominated producer, Dan Brodbeck.

Dani has earned her reputation as a talented hard-working indie both on and off the stage - with 6 radio singles, a nation-wide tour, two international talent show appearances, a song-theft scandal, a #1 iTunes album, and multiple songwriting awards. But it all started paying dues playing the cover circuit in bars, and working short stints as the only female crew member on the tour for some big Canadian rock bands .

“The hardest thing for me to do as a songwriter is define my sound or genre,” Dani says. “I have always fancied myself a fairly diverse writer…for better or worse. it’s hard to pick just one box to put myself into, so I’m just going to record songs that mean a lot to me—and hopefully others. My goal as a writer is to give the listener something they can relate to, lean on, or find joy in."

About the Show:

THE STAMPEDERS .... One More Time

‘They're on their way, to the city lights’ ... and, THE predominant Canadian Rock ‘n’ Roll band of the 1970s – The Stampeders – are bringing along all their classic hits: Wild Eyes, Carry Me, Oh My Lady, Devil You, Ramona, Minstrel Gypsy, Hit the Road Jack and, of course, the quintessential Canadian – and Hall of Fame – song, Sweet City Woman! A veritable soundtrack to a whole generation that will ‘carry you home’ ... maybe not to Birmingham ... but back to a time of tie-dyed t-shirts and elevator shoes, 15¢ coffee and homemade apple pie, dating and dreaming ... By the time The Stampeders get to the first chorus of the first song, everyone will be singing along.

No seventies group represented Canada's musical identity to the world like The Stampeders. A quick look at Canada's music scene from 1971 until 1976 confirms The Stampeders were truly the country's international musical ambassadors, touring more extensively in Canada and overseas than any other Canadian group during that time. In 1977 the trio: Rich Dodson (lead guitar), Kim Berly (drums) and Ronnie King (bass) parted company but reunited, fittingly at the Calgary Stampede, 15 years later in 1992. Since then they’ve been recognized by SOCAN for their Lifetime Achievement, been inducted into the SOCAN Songwriters Hall of Fame on five occasions and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame for their 1971 seminal hit Sweet City Woman.

In March 2024, just before the Ontario leg of this tour, Ronnie King passed away. In the final days, while in palliative care, he insisted that his band mates carry on. Dave Chabot, renowned bassist and long time friend of the band, who was already scheduled to be on the tour to sit in for Ronnie as needed, was the obvious choice. Still, Ronnie remains a presence at every show, as Rich and Kim share stories from 50plus years on the road and pay tribute with a retrospective video.

The enduring musical legacy of The Stampeders ... One More Time ... 'better catch a noon train, better get there for a rock 'n' rolling good time!’

The Knitting Pilgrim

Kirk Dunn, an actor, writer and internationally renowned knitter, is fascinated by the many ways in which knitting can bring people together and help them see eye to eye. In this multi-platform world, he uses original, out-of-the-box knitting and his unique perspective in a variety of ways: as visual art to create conversation around interfaith empathy (see his installation, “Stitched Glass”) and homophobia; as the foundation for theatre that uses knitting to tackle anti-Semitism and Islamophobia (book his one-man show, “The Knitting Pilgrim,” or the upcoming WWII play “Spycraft” about a woman who spies on the Nazis by knitting code into ordinary garments); hosts a podcast and digital series to enter into gentle, curious conversation with people of other faiths to understand their point of view (check out “The Knitting Pilgrim Talks” on YouTube or Spotify); designs patterns that feature an artist’s palette of rich colours (see his original patterns available on Ravelry); and gives workshops in improv on the needle, colourwork, and knitting and spirituality, to share the amazing transformation this humble craft can offer individuals and communities. Kirk looks for common ground to knit people together through empathy, understanding and art.

We celebrate Women in Music with compositions and performances by women. Brahms’s mountain of a piano concerto was caught up in his relationship with Clara and Robert Schumann. Clara was one of the great pianists of her time, and she performed this piece along with many others during her career. Amy Zanrosso, one of our favourite and regular soloists, returns to the Kootenays to perform Brahms’ masterwork. We welcome Kamloops soprano Rachel Casponi to sing Barber’s evocative Knoxville, depicting life in the city’s soft summer. Jennifer Higdon’s Dance Card is an exuberant work which expresses her appreciation for the work required by string players to create beautiful performances. We honour the life of BC composer Jocelyn Morlock with her ode to the natural world.

Sonic Concerts Live presents:

Bellamy Brothers - The Love Still Flows
Western Canada Tour

May 12, 2025 at 7:30 pm
Rated G-Suitable for all ages

Tickets: Regular $58.50

This is a great Mother’s day gift!

About the show:
THE BELLAMY BROTHERS: THE LOVE STILL FLOWS… Howard and David continue to prove that the trail they’ve ridden to fame has been as unique as their music itself—music that is now celebrating 40 years of success.

The road that started on the pop music charts in the ‘70’s, took a winding turn into country music in the ‘80’s, paving the way for duos to come, such as Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Big & Rich, and previously—The Judds. But before the road forked into country, the musical odyssey of brothers Bellamy started creatively smoldering in their home state of Florida, before exploding nationally amidst the ’70’s pop music culture of L.A.

The brothers first official gig was in 1968, playing a free show with their father at the Rattlesnake Roundup in San Antonio, Florida. They honed their early skills playing black clubs throughout the south, and singing backup for artists such as Percy Sledge, Eddie Floyd, and Little Anthony & The Imperials. Within a few months, the brothers moved north, immersing themselves and their rock/country sound in the Atlanta market, where the Allman Brothers were the emerging kings of the music world.

With the dawning of the Age of Aquarius on the horizon, and America embroiled in a smoke haze of drugs, civil unrest and an unpopular war, The Bellamy's music picked-up the hard driving edge that bespoke the times. Songwriting had become David Bellamy’s drug of choice during the long road gigs he and Howard were regularly pulling bodies and equipment to and from. It was his songwriting that was posed to soon provide the duo a national breakout.

The break came in the form of the hit, “Spiders & Snakes,” written by David and recorded by Jim Stafford. The song became a smash, eventually selling more than three million units worldwide. It became the catapult that rocketed the brother onto the L.A. music scene. Young and impressionable, Howard and David fell into the musical circle of the greats of the day: Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Van Morrison, as well as West Coast based country rockers like Poco and the Byrds.

It was a creative shoe that fit.

Now known by their music and the company they were keeping, The Bellamys officially lifted off the launch pad in 1976 when their single, “Let Your Love Flow,” became an instant smash in both the U.S. and Europe. It stayed on the international charts long enough to build a huge international fan base for the hip young brothers that endures to this day. In Germany alone it perched at #1 for more than two months. The love was indeed flowing as The Bellamys jammed for audiences on their sold-out concerts and shared stages with the likes of Loggins & Messina, the Doobie Brothers, and the Beach Boys., with their patented blend of rock/country music.

True to their musical roots, their style and their songwriting was moving steadily more towards their raising. By the late ‘70’s The Bellamys were emerging on the country charts with another bona fide smash. “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me),” originally scrawled on a dinner napkin by David, rocketed them to the top of the country charts the way “Let Your Love Flow,” had done in the pop market just a few years earlier. It proved to be the first of a string of fourteen #1 singles in the U.S. alone.

Success followed success: “Dancing Cowboys,” “Sugar Daddy,” “You Ain’t Just Whistlin’ Dixie,” “Lovers Live Longer,” “Do You Love As Good As You Look,” “Redneck Girl,” “For All The Wrong Reasons,” “I Love Her Mind,” “I Need More Of You,” “Old Hippie,” “Too Much Is Not Enough,” “Kids Of The Baby Boom,” and “Reggae Cowboy” and “Crazy From The Heart,”…all have lined the corridors of the Bellamy’s musical history and their walls with platinum and gold.

Along the way, Howard and David created a patent on the newly cool “duo” category in country music. In the era of the 2000’s, The Bellamy Brothers hold the record in both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) for the most duo nominations. Numerous Grammy nods have also been directed toward the brothers.

Internationally, the story has been the same—though the titles may be different. The Bellamys have released more than two-dozen hit songs outside the U.S. that were never released here. With a sharp eye on the songwriting skills that have been the bedrock of their success, Howard and David concur that their career is unique in their international finesse for matching their songs to the market.

“For the international releases, you have to have a strong melody,” notes David. “The lyric is very important, but internationally the melody is something fans can lock into, even if they can’t understand the lyrics.” Howard and David continue to perform and film TV specials in Europe and around the world.

These days when the subject turns to touring, The Bellamys are showing a new generation of country music how it’s done. “We’re old road dogs,” grins Howard when asked about the motivation behind the brothers 200 plus concert dates each year. Adds David: “Our live draw is bigger than it was in the ‘80’s. I think the same people that grew up with us and with our music in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s obviously have raised a whole new generation of Bellamy fans who started toddling to our music. Now they’re turning up at our concerts as college kids, who are really turned on and tuned in to us and our music….it’s a great feeling.”

On the infrequent off days from the road, Howard and David head the bus back to their 150-acre family ranch in Darby, Florida just north of Tampa. A working ranch, the spread consists of Purebred Charlois cattle and quarter horses. Amid a land lush with fruit trees, ancient oaks and crepe myrtles, three generation of the Bellamy family, headed by David and Howard’s mother, Frances, populate the homes clustered in the family compound.

The Bellamy Brothers latest project is their new album titled '40 Years' is an ambitious project that celebrates their career with 20 of their biggest hits and then adds 20 brand new songs in this 2 cd anniversary collection.

Wannabe

We are WANNABE...

Wannabe has been thrilling audiences and blowing the roof of concert venues across North America for the past 10 years. With giant personalities, mega-watt singing voices, spot-on choreography, costume changes, English accents and platform shoes, these powerhouse women have brought Girl Power into the 21st century with their larger-than

life epic shows.

Wannabe is the brainchild of a group of Toronto based performers and musicians who also just happen to be best friends. The idea for Wannabe was born one summer when the girls were crammed in a house together performing in a summer musical, right around the start of 90’s nostalgia. The girls went to work. After an intense period of “Spice Girls Training”, which included studying concert footage and music videos, creating choreography, arranging songs and harmonies, assembling a six-piece backing band, and rehearsing for several months, Wannabe was ready to hit the stage for what they thought would be a one-off concert for friends and family at the legendary Toronto venue, The El Mocambo. They were wrong. The show sold out and the band hasn’t looked back since.

Wannabe has grown to become one of the most sought after acts in North America, selling out concert halls, theatres, clubs, casinos, outdoor festivals and more. As the band has gained popularity, the shows have expanded to include not only Spice Girls songs, but hits from other 90’s superstars including Brittany Spears, Janet Jackson, and Madonna.

The girls have appeared on stages alongside legendary 90’s acts including TLC, The Goo Goo Dolls, Aqua, 98 Degrees, O-Town, Lance Bass (N’Sync) and Aaron Carter.

Wannabe is as close to the real thing as you’re ever going to get.

Wannabe is Barbara Johnston, Suzy Wilde, Anika Johnson, Jaz Fairy-J and Cat Merriam.

Corb Lund Solo
November 28th at 7:30 pm
Tickets: $52.50

About the Show:

Iconic Canadian Country music Artist to perform in Cranbrook and Trail this November

A rural Albertan hailing from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with a long family lineage of ranchers and rodeo people, Corb Lund is about as authentic as they come, and equally as hard to define.

The western Canadian singer-songwriter is an elusive artist, onstage, offstage, and in the studio-seamlessly weaving between the outlaw country, Western, and indie-folk realms with an honest curiosity and rowdy devotion to each. He was raised with the tried and true DIY sentiment of “if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself’’ ,launching his career recording in his basement, printing his own shirts, booking his own tours, being his own Manager and publicist…whatever it took to get it done. He toured for years with the indie-metal band, The Smalls, and later turned his sights to writing Western songs, creating a rather unique and quirky hybrid writing style along the way.

Corb Lund has received multiple domestic and international award wins and nominations. In 2022, Lund won his 14th career Canadian Country Music Award and made his debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry earlier this year as well. He has three Gold albums to his credit, and his latest album released in February of this year, EL VIEJO was highly acclaimed. The album features all original songs, and the title song is a tribute to his long time friend Ian Tyson.

You can spend an intimate evening with the thinking cowboy’s troubadour, on November 27th at Trail's Charles Bailey Theatre. Or in Cranbrook at the Key City Theatre the following night on the 28th. Both shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Trail show on November 27th are available to the general public on Friday May 10th at 12 noon. About the show:
JUNO and 9X CCMA Award-Winning Band, The Washboard Union

Announce “Grab the Wheel and Go” Tour

New Album WESTERLY Out Now

Toronto, ON - JUNO and 9x CCMA award-winning band The Washboard Union is excited to announce their 2024 Canadian fall tour. The “Grab the Wheel and Go” tour will kick off on October 26th in Sault Ste. Marie, ON and make stops across the country with shows in Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

As the lyric from the band’s anthemic hit “Drink Em Up” states, “you can spend your days just waiting or you can grab the wheel and go.” This tour underscores the importance of hitting the road, and The Washboard Union’s dynamic live show highlights that the stage is exactly where the band is meant to be. The band will be joined on the tour by SIRIUSXM Top of The Country finalist Tony Stevens on all BC dates, and award-nominated The Red Hill Valleys on all Ontario dates, with

additional dates featuring The Prairie States.

The “Grab the Wheel and Go” tour will also offer exclusive "Union" VIP packages, including a special pre-show acoustic session with the band, beverages and more. VIP packages can be purchased separately for each show at www.thewashboardunion.com/vip.

“The "Grab The Wheel and Go" tour will take us across this beautiful country to cities and towns both big and small. Places we have never been before and places we can’t wait to go back to,” said Chris Duncombe of The Washboard Union. "Our Washboard Union fans are family and have always made us feel like we are coming home no matter where we go. Each place is different with its very

own story and people. We can't wait for our fans to experience this brand new show, and perform songs from our new album WESTERLY.”

The tour follows the release of the band’s 10-song album, WESTERLY in July. The collection of songs, distributed via Universal Music Canada, features the band’s hit singles "I Run On Country," "Gather Round” and "Band On Her T-Shirt," which recently reached the #1 most added spot at Canadian Country radio.

WESTERLY was produced by The Washboard Union, Matt McClure (Lee Brice) and Dave “Dwave” Thomson (Lady A, High Valley) and is a call home to the wild landscapes of the west that have fueled and inspired the band from their beginnings. Sonically, WESTERLY is anthemic, blending gritty country and soaring choruses, underpinned by The Washboard Union’s signature three-part harmonies that have won them fans the world over.

The Washboard Union, composed of step-brothers Aaron Grain, Chris Duncombe and their best friend David Roberts, have carved their place as one of Canada’s top country bands. Some of their many successes include reaching over 85 million career streams, 380,000 radio spins, one Platinum and four Gold-certified singles and 35+ total award wins. They are three-time consecutive CCMA Group of the Year winners, and remain the only country group to ever win a JUNO Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year. Most recently, The Washboard Union was nominated for two 2024 CCMA Awards for Group of the Year and Special of the Year for “A Washboard Union Christmas”.

In 2023 The Washboard Union brought their dynamic and engaging live show to stages across North American, including Country Thunder Florida, Country Thunder Wisconsin and YQM Fest, and shared stages with headliners like Cody Johnson, Hardy, Thomas Rhett, and many more. The band kicked off their live shows with a performance at CMA fest in Nashville on June 6th, and have continued on the road for their busiest summer to date with performances across Canada from coast to coast.
